Sydney （Syd） Whitmore is a forensic psychologist living in San Francisco when tragedy strikes so she moves back home for what turns out to be a working vacation。 Home is a resort on Shipwreck Island and Syd is really enjoying reconnecting with family and friends。In this book， Syd is asked to help a young man regain his memories of the ten years that have passed since he dissapeared when he was eight。 She also continues to look into the case of her friend， Riley's attack。I really enjoyed this boo Sydney （Syd） Whitmore is a forensic psychologist living in San Francisco when tragedy strikes so she moves back home for what turns out to be a working vacation。 Home is a resort on Shipwreck Island and Syd is really enjoying reconnecting with family and friends。In this book， Syd is asked to help a young man regain his memories of the ten years that have passed since he dissapeared when he was eight。 She also continues to look into the case of her friend， Riley's attack。I really enjoyed this book which is second in the series and takes up seamlessly after the first。 The book's well-written with a wonderful cast of characters。 I was drawn into the story from the start and kept hooked， reading it in one sitting。 Full of intrigue with a mystery that'll keep you on your toes， this is an excellent read。 I'm looking forward to the next book and I highly recommend both book and series。 I suggest you read the books in order for the most enjoyment and benefit even though technically they could be read on their own。 。。。more
